One sign location's record
An admin opens one sign location and reads its whole story in one place: its zone and community channel, each trailhead sign with its sign state and number, the open sign tickets, the installs with who, when and the photo, the check-ins, and the AHJ's permission and contacts. From here the admin reports a sign damaged or missing, which opens one replace sign ticket, or records the sign down for the summer. The AHJ's contacts and address never leave the admin.
The flow
A report on an installed sign sets its state and opens a replace ticket, high urgency when missing, unless one is active; a report on a sign that is not up opens nothing (#66).

Three ways to build it
Low not chosen
The sign location in Django's built-in admin: fields and related rows, no story, no photo preview.
Medium committed
One page with zone, channel, signs and states, tickets, installs with photos, check-ins and permission, plus report damaged or missing and take down. Committed with layout B (#61), because this is where the admin acts.
High not chosen
The medium page plus a history line per sign across winters and the last photo beside the planning page's map picture.
What the tests prove
- Never publicthe AHJ's contacts and address appear here and nowhere public, nor on the read API.
- One tickettwo reports on one sign open one replace ticket.
- Down for the summera take-down leaves the sign down for the summer and raises the depot's stock.
- Close seasoncreates take-down work for exactly the installed signs.
Measurements
Counted on the wireframe; live numbers come from the usage compartment once the screen exists.
Decided
- The record shows a photo of the sign, from its latest install (Jamie, 2026-10-22 PT, #61).
- Permission without a letter this season: the AHJ, when, by whom and a note (Jamie, 2026-10-22 PT, #61).
- Check-ins on this page are this season's only; earlier winters stay in the CSV export (Jamie, 2026-10-22 PT, #61).
- The two Lake Run positions are being corrected on the live site by a reviewed command, dry run first, on Jamie's go (Jamie, 2026-10-22 PT, #61).
- Lake Run: Jamie gave separate positions for the Cottonwood sign and the parking (#61), which likely settles the unmatched Donner Lake point (#52).
